Capper Presents Check to Empowering Haiti
 |  | | Stan Capper, MD (pictured left) presented a $1,500 check from Wichita Clinic to Carolyn Grier, (pictured right) of Empowering Haiti. | (Wichita, KS)— Wichita Clinic is initiating a new tradition in celebration of its 60th Anniversary. The individual recognized as Wichita Clinic’s annual Founders’ Award recipient will receive a check for $1,500 to donate to the charity of their choice. Stan Capper, MD (Dermatology) was recognized as Wichita Clinic’s annual Founders’ Award winner on Saturday, April 12th, and he has chosen to make his charitable donation to Empowering Haiti.
A $1,500 check was presented on April 29, 2008 by Dr. Capper to Carolyn Grier, active member of Empowering Haiti and College Hill United Methodist Church. Dr. Capper is Vice President of Empowering Haiti and is one of several Wichita Clinic physicians that travels to Haiti for one week each year to treat patients. Since 2000, Stan and Gail Capper, along with other dedicated volunteers, have developed numerous programs for the people of Haiti including a Micro-Lending Project, Internet Café and a program to feed secondary school students.
Dr. Capper is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and joined Wichita Clinic in 1973. He currently practices Dermatology at Wichita Clinic Northeast located at 9211 E. 21st St. (316-609-4558)

School and Sports physicals are available on Saturdays at Eberly Farm and Derby. Physicals will be offered July 26th, August 2nd and August 9th at Eberly Farm from 9 am to 1 pm.
