Team Profiles

Greg Rockers

Greg Rockers, Pharmacy Manager

As Wichita Clinic’s Pharmacy Manager, Greg Rockers enjoys interacting with people on a daily basis. Whether he is counseling the young parents of a newborn, helping mature patients understand Medicare Part D benefits, or researching patient inquiries about when new drugs will be available on the marketplace, Greg enjoys the opportunity to educate his customers.

“I’m very proud of our pharmacy team because they all understand the importance of customer service.  We’re here not only to fill the patients’ prescriptions, but to answer questions they may have about the best time to take their drugs, how their new prescriptions may interact with drugs they’ve taken for many years, and to caution them about possible side effects.  Many of our customers are long-time Wichita Clinic patients and we’ve earned their trust with our genuine concern for their health and our history of accuracy.”

Greg also serves his community as an active member of the Sedgwick County Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) Pharmacy Action Team.  In this role he helps Sedgwick County prepare for possible natural disasters or bioterrorist events.  He serves on the MMRS Pandemic Influenza Steering Committee as well.

A member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists, Greg is a native Kansan who earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas.  A practicing pharmacist since 1991, he also manages Wichita Clinic’s Clinical Research Dept.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys coaching his daughters in a variety of sports.  He also competes in triathlons and road races, ranging in distance from 5K to marathons.
