Pulmonary Medicine
Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis
- Spaces Available: Unlimited
- Enrollment Criteria: Ages 45-80 with documented history of pulmonary fibrosis
- Length of Study: 64 weeks
- Type of Medication for Study: Oral
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Spaces Available: 12
- Enrollment Criteria: 18 years or older, diagnosed COPD, current or ex-smoker
- Length of Study: 1 year
- Type of Medication for Study: Inhaler
Endocrinology
Type II Diabetes
- Spaces Available: 6
- Enrollment Criteria: Poorly controlled Type II Diabetes, as evidenced by Hgb A1C > 6.5., patient must be on maximum doses of triple oral antidiabetics.
- Length of Study: 62 weeks
- Type of medication for Study: Lantus insulin subcutaneous
Type II Diabetes
- Spaces Available: Unlimited
- Enrollment Criteria: Ages 18-77, Monotherapy for diabetes with Actos or Avandia, elevated HgA1C.
- Length of Study: 72 weeks
- Type of Medication for Study: Oral
- Additional Information: Glucose monitor, strips, doctor visits and medication supplied during study.
Cardiovascular Disease
Cardiac Risk
- Spaces Available: 20
- Enrollment Criteria: Age 55 or older, cardiac risk factors, obese
- Length of Study: 3 years
- Type of Medication for Study: Oral
Rheumatology
Osteoarthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Spaces Available: 20
- Enrollment Criteria: Age 18 years or older, cardiac disease or risk factors, require daily NSAIDS (Motrin, Naproxen)
- Length of Study: 3 ½ - 4 years
- Type of Medication for Study: Oral
Osteoarthritis of the Knee
- Spaces Available: 20
- Enrollment Criteria: Ages 50-75 years, osteoarthritis of the knee (not caused by injury), currently taking daily NSAIDS, no ulcers, no blood thinners, willing to stop taking other medications for osteoarthritis
- Length of Study: 6 months
- Type of Medication for Study: Oral
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Endometriosis
- Spaces Available : 5
- Enrollment Criteria: Females ages 18-49, diagnosis of endometriosis with laparoscopy within last 7 years, have menstrual cycles (28 days + 5 days) in absence of birth control pill
- Length of Study: 48 weeks
- Type of Medication for Study: Oral pill, and injection twice during study.

Saturday mammograms are available at Eberly Farm on Saturday, August 2nd from 9 am to 1 pm. Please call (316) 946-1710 to set up an appointment time.
School and Sports physicals are available on Saturdays at Eberly Farm and Derby. Physicals will be offered July 26th, August 2nd and August 9th at Eberly Farm from 9 am to 1 pm. Physicals will be offered at Derby on August 2nd and August 9th from 8 am to noon. Appointments at Eberly Farm can be scheduled by calling (316) 945-0142. Appointments for Derby can be made by calling (316) 789-8222.
Wichita Clinic Diabetes Education Classes are offered in a two day format, Mondays and Thursdays each week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
